Description
This Tutorial will show you how to create a simple Muzzle Blast effect along with how to instantiate a bullet with racasting and also how to make the bullet explosion when it hits the wall. Special thanks goes out to my good friend Jacob for putting this together.
I ran into some issues using the variable "point" in the Explosion script (it flipped the muzzle flash, made the bullets shoot at odd angles, etc.) maybe because its a reserved word? Changing it to hitPoint fixed my issues. Not sure if this is a 2.6 issue or what.

The site automatically does its own compression but the link in this comment is the solution I hope you all enjoy. And as always we are here to help :)
looks like a terrific tutorial. is there a higher rez version of it? It's very blurry when full screen and way to small if played in the viewer. (I'm sure Mike, has received an earful of resolution feedback in the past...lol)
Thanks, and hopefully there is a higher res version.

Open up the image in your favorite editing program (I use photoshop)
Select the part of the image you want to be see through..
Delete your selection..
I would save it as either a TGA or a png, make sure save alpha channel button is on.
And then just bring it into unity
How do you make an alpha channel on the texture, mine isnt see through?
